At the heart of our design family is CEO and founder, Miki Nakamura. He has founded this company to redefine modern interiors, pushing creative boundaries to deliver extraordinary results for every client. His passion for innovative design is the driving force behind everything we do.
During Miki Nakamura’s 20-year career, he has driven cross-border sales and go-to-market strategies, representing the high-end designer furniture manufacturers in key markets across the Asia Pacific region, in particular Japan. Fluent English and Japanese facilities easy engagement with clients, manufacturers, suppliers and distributors.He founded Japan Country Management PLC (JCM) in 2018 to serve specialized needs of import interior brands in the Japanese market.
Earlier in his career in the industry, Miki Nakamura was the Representative Director and President of Poggenpohl’s Japan subsidiary. He managed the directly operated Tokyo showroom and was responsible for luxury kitchen project design, sales, and delivery functions nationwide. In 2022, he was appointed on a consultancy basis as Poggenpohl’s Area Head of Sales & Marketing for the APAC region covering luxury residential projects in locations such as Singapore, Korea, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Prior to luxury residences, Nakamura was engaged in high-end commercial office furniture projects with brands such as BuzziSpace and Steelcase. Clients included multinational companies such as Adidas, BBC, Google, Novartis, and renowned global design offices.
In 2025, JCM delivered interior design and all product packages to Niseko luxury townhouse complex project of ten houses, a major benchmark project in Niseko.
